The Agora Sant Cugat International School educational project is based on the three main pillars, which also distinguish NACE Schools: educational excellence, global readiness, including language immersion, and co-curricular excellence. These three pillars help us to achieve our main objective: to prepare each pupil to live successfully in a globalised world, to be happy and live according to values such as respect and tolerance, self-improvement, responsibility, and social commitment.
One of the fundamental aspects of our educational project is to help the pupils to identify and maximise their individual talents through a rigorous methodology. This is what we refer to as educational excellence. Our highly qualified staff members work every day to ensure that our pupils have the tools they need to develop their skills and therefore reach their maximum potential, thanks to personalised attention. Through a rigorous methodology, which is distinguished by its innovative character, for having the best staff, for incorporating new technologies, as well as for offering facilities adapted to different needs, we ensure that our project achieves educational excellence.
Global readiness is the second pillar which defines the Agora Sant Cugat International School educational project. We offer language immersion which is characterised by its trilingual nature (English, Catalan, and Spanish), but we also increase the range of foreign languages offered with Chinese, German, and French classes taught by native or bilingual teachers, in which pupils can prepare to earn internationally recognised language certificates. The global readiness of our pupils is complemented with the international exchanges, programmes, and activities which NACE Schools organises over the course of the academic year so that our pupils are enriched personally and have unique learning experiences with pupils from all over the world.
As the third pillar of our educational project, we find co-curricular excellence. At Agora Sant Cugat International School we are more than a school and we teach knowledge and skills which go beyond the purely academic, offering rigorous programmes in sport, music, and other creative arts. We incorporate these disciplines into the curriculum, since they play an important role in the comprehensive development of people. As well as acquiring sensitivity, the pupils learn essential values which will help them to develop both academically and personally, such as respect and tolerance, self-improvement, responsibility, and social commitment.
